Spain will travel to Scotland for their next Euro 2012 qualification match and Vicente del Bosque is hoping that Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso will be able to feature on Tuesday evening.
“I am counting on them for Tuesday's game in Glasgow,” Del Bosque explained to AS. “Then if we have to change we will see. But at the moment I am not planning to call any additional players for that game."
Del Bosque went on to speak about the Furia Roja's 3-1 win over Lithuania on Friday night.
“I am happy with our win against Lithuania and this Seleccion is playing well. The group stays united with the same energy and enthusiasm which we had at the World Cup. This is fundamental for us.
“They defended well but gave us space on the flank so we had the opportunity to cross in the box. This is one more possibility for us,” added Del Bosque.
“I was hoping for a game like that because Lithuania are a difficult side to face: they defend well and hit on the counter. But my team is in great form and we won three important points.”
