Dexter Season 5 Episode 3 Review

Dexter Season 5 Episode 3:Every time Dexter takes a life, we can assume that it saves lives. He kills murderers, rapists, pedophiles, who would claim all the other victims, if they continue to live. But this time, Dexter saves the life of the moment – Julia Stiles made her first appearance as one of the Boyd Fowler potential victims, presumably stored in the trap that locked attic. (In the last episode, Dexter noticed a locked door and a strange-looking air vents.) At the moment, Dexter quickly transferred from the mask of humanity stuck in the hunter mode savior mode. He sounded like a terrible and wonderful, when he said: “She saw everything she saw me..”

It was easy to see it coming, that the murder would not have been as satisfying for Dexter this season. He has not lost the Dark Passenger calls, but “bells and choirs Hallelujah” went to the moment when he strikes Boyd in the chest. I can not tell Harry Ghost had warned him. Dexter has been evolving, and it is more difficult now. Registration and excitement of the murder is not enough to fill the void inside because the hole bigger. Mainly, since when he met Rita, Dexter has expanded its capabilities for real emotion – although fortunately, it’s still fun socially awkward. He still can not say “I love you” (the second time this season he uses a “me too” bit), but he really has the ability to love now.

He still urges, and excitement can not be completely gone, but not enough. Dexter may try to amp up his kills, or intends to increase production, but with the introduction of Lumen (Stiles), he could find salvation in the preservation and rehabilitation of victims, not just from killing. (Last season, he is to extend the life of the Trinity, knowing that it may allow him to kill someone else.) Dexter generally opposed to people he kills with photos of their victims, but it was never clear how much sympathy he feels for the victims, except for maybe the last season, when he saved a boy from the hands of the Trinity. Now it is associated with Lumen (whose name may be of particular importance) in a very interesting way.

“Dexter” is sometimes repetitive show, but one of the reps that work is a constant search for Dexter’s adoption. It’s a relief when he can show his true self to someone, but it is also dangerous. And it turned out quite disastrously – with Leela, Miguel, Arthur Mitchell. Harry’s spirit always gets frowny face when someone shows their true face Dexter, but Dexter wants someone to it – and still take it. Lumen can be that person. She knows that he is a murderer, but it can also look at him as their savior. But there’s also that other edge to the sword, she knows the secret of Dexter, and one of them at least, and can always tell someone.

producers said the show would not be a “bad guy” this season, but the number of people to interact with Dexter. This is a smart move to break the pattern this season, especially when, after last season. So Boyd Fowler (Shawn Hatosy) bites the dust of the third episode. Although it has some creepy taste in motivational CDs (“Take it!”), He was pretty weird when he CSI’ed Dexter, this time seeing the wedding Dexter’s Band tan lines.

I also enjoyed that Boyd did not go without a fight – Dexter got it from a needle sleepy time of the liquid, and then Boyd fired at him with a tranq dart. It was a good scene as the paramedic asked him what happened, and Dexter held his breath, wondering if Boyd would have to tell the truth, but instead, Boyd played together. Of course he did – he got a few barrels of bodies in the proverbial toilet. The hospital scenes look Boyd answering questions, thinking about stabbing “Darrell Tucker,” the death penalty was a very Hitchcock.

The second new character was introduced in an episode – an Irish nurse, Sonia So, there must be some dark secrets in her past, right (Maria Doyle Kennedy, “The Tudors.”)? No new characters on “Dexter” ever completely innocent. I doubt that it will be evil, but it probably has something to hide. Maybe it’s super heinous – as it on the run from an abusive husband, who was murdered said abusive husband, or the country illegally.

I loved the scene Deb questioning nurse (“You can not make the kind of impact”) and, interestingly, she was more suspicious of potential keeper Harrison than Dexter. They made the right choice – Sonia sang the appropriate lyrics for the son of a Serial Killer: “Bye Baby Bunting / Papa went hunting.” And on paper, it is almost perfect. While Dexter was more credible than Deb, they showed his anxiety well. He knows all about the potential of people to the dark, but he also clung more “light” in his life, light, like Harrison, and was frightened when he came home to find Harrison and Sonia had gone, even though she just took it for walking.

Michael C. Hall also did an incredible job in the transfer of his pain and fear that Harrison would lose their innocence, as he did. The psychiatrist explained that while Harrison was only 10 months means he will not handle the massacres he witnessed the way 3-year-old Dexter was able to. But then Harrison popped his head doll Ken.

Both Deb and unwittingly encouraged by a psychiatrist as Dexter, to return to its routine murder. Only Harry’s Ghost (which is simply a product of imagination and memories of Dexter) rejected.

In the storylines of the Santa Muerte murder and branching bar against Batista were the least interesting part of the episode. But Santa Muerte killing more interesting than last season’s Holiday Killings and Skinner. And at least a bar fight Batista had some impact. I went back and watched the battle from the previous episode, and he did not kick a guy when he fell, at least, not that they showed.

Quinn continued to receive his Doakes and spotted the similarities between Dexter and artist sketches a description of the family Kyle Mitchell Butler. (Or, in accordance with the Masuka, Justin Bieber.) Mitchells in the Safehouse, since they do not know that Arthur Mitchell is dead. Quinn wants to show them photos of Dexter, which, of course, will show that Dexter worked with the Trinity. I think Quinn will learn that Dexter killed the Trinity this season, but not what the Trinity is not even close the first person he killed. But if Quinn is getting closer to Deb, it may have to choose between the desire of Dexter, or protect Deb.

Introduction to the nature of Julia Stiles adds interesting layers show. And it was a pleasant surprise. Dexter has always tried to work through their issues on the cutting table, but now he will have a chance to find some relief from the victim, too.

A few drops of:

- I like a beer on the balcony of negotiations between Dexter and Deb. This is a good opportunity to evaluate them, what is happening around them.

- A child (or children) who play Harrison just adorable, I especially like dimply smile he gave when the nurse Sonya picked him up.

- Since they are made “Take It Now” motivational tapes of most of the last two episodes, and in this, even showed, CD, and the name of the person who makes them, Jordan Chase, I have to figure this guy will be displayed in a point. Maybe he’s finally on the table, Dexter or maybe Dexter will go to him for inspiration. Or both.

- Fake “oh, I just happened to be having lunch in the same place as you,” may have been the best catch Dexter pursues agreements.

- They have not forgotten about Cody and Astor completely. Cody called a pancake recipe for Dexter, but Astor is not yet ready to forgive him.

- So Boyd has killed many women and no one noticed, and as he seemed to think he was doing them good, because they were all suffering, maybe he was just killing women who are not missed or were bad place in their life – escapes, drug addicts, prostitutes, women with emotional problems, etc. ..
