Facebook co-founder Sean Parker donates $100,000 to marijuana legalization measure in California

Facebook co-founder supports legalization of Marijuana in the state of California.

California’s ballot measure to legalize pot  has added a new friend: Facebook co-founder Sean Parker. According to reports, Parker’s $100,000 donation was confirmed by Proposition 19 campaign finance filings this week.

Aside from Parker, another Facebook.com co-founder also supports the legalization of Marijuana in CA.

Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz has made two donations with a total of $70,000. The sum includes the $50,000 contribution that Moskovitz donated last month.

Parker and Moskovitz now out of the social networking company, but both still have ownership stakes, according to a report of AP.

Sean Parker was the cofounder of Napster; a cofounder of Plaxo, a contact management application company; and the Founding President of Facebook.

A little wiki: In the movie ‘The Social Network’, former N-SYNC star Justin Timberlake played the role of Sean Parker.
