Texas Chainsaw Massacre true story in focus‏

One of the most contentious movies ever to hit Hollywood is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre due to the fact that many people are not sure what the true storyline is. The same subject has had two movies already with the first one in 1974 and the most recent Texas Chainsaw Massacre in 2003.

The two movies are not too bad and has a similar storyline in which a group of young men and women from Texas travel together and comes across a traveling woman looking for a free ride. After picking her up in their car, the hitchhiker shoots herself with a 357 magnum pistol and they decide to locate the nearest sheriff’s office after earlier directions from the hitchhiker. However the sheriff wasn’t in his office and they got word from a toddler boy that he was at home having a drinking session.

Two out of the group decide to go find the sheriff’s home which was located in the woods while 3 of them stay in his office. Many people are at a loss whether the storyline of the movie actually happened in real life as stated by Harris who claims to have lived in Texas as a kid and knows that both movies are real life stories and not fabricated ones.
